KeepWarm inspires in Serbia with virtual event
The Serbian virtual INSPIRE Event was held on October 7, from 10 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. The organizer of the meeting was the Vinca Institute. The conference, which brought together over 20 participants, replaced face-to-face sessions previously planned to be held at the Energy Fair at the same time.
The session was organized to exchange knowledge and experience as well as the intention to encourage all stakeholders in the district heating sector to the energy transition.
The agenda is designed to encourage discussion of major problems in the district heating sector (DG), to enable knowledge transfer, to present useful tools to optimize DHS, to show examples of good practice and to encourage discussion on possible solutions in technical and legal terms, as well as the possibilities and ways of financing "green" projects.
In addition to representatives of heating plants, the conference was attended by representatives of local self-government, representatives of the Regional Development Agency Zlatibor, the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities, the Business Association of Heating Plants of Serbia, financial institutions (EBRD), examples of good practice from Priboj and Sabac. KeepWarm partners from Croatia, REGEA and FSB, presented their biomass application projects.
The presentations were accompanied by fruitful discussions.
